St. Andrew’s is proud to offer a full-day kindergarten that runs from 8:55am – 2:35pm.  The program runs in Kinder House, a house dedicated exclusively to the kindergarten students.  This unique space affords the students many experiences that help them grow socially, emotionally and cognitively.

On a daily basis the teachers employ a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of every student by using multi-sensory experiences, enhancing skills in listening, speaking, reading and mathematical concepts.  Teachers are trained to recognize to each child’s learning style and are constantly evaluating the students to assess areas of strength and weakness.  This allows for highly individualized programs for the students.

The kindergarten at St. Andrew’s incorporates many enrichment opportunities into each week.  Children receive daily Spanish instruction.  Children also rotate as kitchen helpers to assist in preparing the lunch that is eaten family style each day.  Additionally, the students have a weekly gym class and meet with a music teacher twice per week.
